Serving in diverse capacities, including president and CEO of her own company, DSI, Inc., project director, instructional systems designer, training developer, instructor and writer, Daphene Vance has directed and contributed to the development of corporate, industrial instructor-led training, computer-based training, web-based training, and blended learning solutions for a variety of clients.
She has formed strategic partnerships with various Fortune 500 companies to assist them in meeting strategic business goals. Daphene has demonstrated her ability to discover new solutions and independently initiate and complete projects. Throughout her career, she has met or surpassed clients’ goals while working independently or in teams and interacting and consulting with clients. Committed to a project’s success, Daphene takes the initiative from each project’s conception to its successful conclusion.
Daphene’s experience in consulting and training includes practical classroom instruction in this country and abroad, adult education curriculum development, and design and development of technical training information.
Prior to corporate training, Daphene developed and taught technical and business writing courses for the Berlitz Schools of Languages in The Hague, Holland; directed the Documentation/Software Training Department of Computer Application Specialists; performed as Documentation Specialist for an engineering firm, Developmental Design of Austin; taught in the public school system; and contributed to the development of science curricula for public middle schools.
Daphene Vance has conducted front-end analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation of hundreds of training and education programs for such clients as Whole Foods Corporation, Siemens, Dell Computer Corporation, Frito-Lay, PepsiCo, Quaker-Tropicana-Gatorade, PriceWaterhouse Coopers, and Bank of America. |
